A total of 11,425 lawyer-aspirants finished last Sunday, Sept. 14, the three-day 2025 online and regionalized Bar Examinations administered by the Supreme Court (SC).
SC Associate Justice Amy C. Lazaro-Javier, chairperson of the Committee on Bar Examinations, had earlier said that the results of the examinations will be released tentatively in early January next year and the oathtaking and signing of the Roll of Attorneys will be held in February.
Like in previous examinations, the tests this year covered six subjects which were tackled by the examinees with two subjects each for three days last Sept. 7, 10, and 14.
Only 11,437 of the 13,193 registered examinees took the tests last Sunday, Sept. 7, during the first day of the examinations.
During the second day of the examinations last Wednesday, Sept. 10, the number of examinees dwindled to 11,429, the SC’s Office of the Spokesperson said.
On the last day of the examinations, four examinees decided to quit for still unknown reasons.
Subjects covered in the examinations were Political and Public International Law, Commercial and Taxation Laws, Civil Law, Labor Law and Social Legislations, Criminal Law, and Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises.
