Woman arrested for selling shabu in Taguig

Police arrested a 28-year-old woman after she sold shabu during a buy-bust operation in Taguig on Sept. 11.

The suspect was identified as alias Ranalyn, a resident of Barangay Rizal, Taguig. She was listed as a street-level individual and a newly identified drug personality.

The Taguig police conducted the operation in Barangay Rizal and seized shabu weighing 37.2 grams valued at P252,960.

They also seized a genuine P500 bill used as marked money and five pieces of P1,000 boodle money.

The suspect and the illegal drugs were turned over to the Taguig police’s Drug Enforcement Unit for documentation.

She will face a complaint for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
