Las Piñas LGU strengthens waste management with new trucks, crane
The city government of Las Piñas turned over additional compactor trucks, dump trucks, and a boom crane to the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) to strengthen the city’s waste management and clearing operations.

Las Piñas City Mayor Arpil Aguilar, together with Vice Mayor Imelda Aguilar, led the blessings of seven compactor trucks for efficient collection of garbage around the city, two dump trucks for hauling debris and bulky waste, and one boom crane for clearing operations.
The mayor said that with the city being a constant awardee as the cleanest and greenest city in Metro Manila, the initiative is part of her commitment to building a cleaner environment and a healthier community, ensuring that every Las Piñero benefits from responsive and reliable public service.
She said residents can now look forward to cleaner streets and neighborhoods with the additional garbage trucks to strengthen its waste collection program.
The mayor said the new trucks will be deployed to various barangays to ensure faster and more efficient garbage collection, which is part of the city government’s initiative and continuing efforts to maintain cleanliness and promote proper waste management.
