BACOLOD CITY – Police recently arrested a 66-year-old man for allegedly killing his nephew in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental.
The Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) said the suspect Alfredo hacked his nephew during a heated argument on March 29. The victim died on the spot.
The suspect was tagged as the seventh most wanted person on the regional, fourth on the provincial, and second on the city level.
His arrest warrant was issued by the Tanjay City Regional Trial Court with no bail recommended.
The PRO-NIR reaffirmed their commitment to public safety and called on the community to remain vigilant and proactive in supporting law enforcement by promptly reporting any suspicious or illegal activities.
