PDEA dismantles drug den in Tagbilaran City

CEBU CITY – Three persons were arrested when a suspected drug den was dismantled in Barangay Manga, Tagbilaran City, Bohol on Friday afternoon, Sept. 12.
Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Bohol Provincial Office seized nine packs of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P68,000.
One of the arrested persons, a certain Arnold, 43, was the alleged maintainer of the drug den.
Also arrested were a 30-year-old construction worker and 45-year-old fisherman.
Leia Alcantara, information officer of PDEA-Central Visayas, said barangay officials received reports of the presence of a drug den in the area.
The PDEA-7 started conducting a case buildup and the suspects were arrested after a week of close monitoring with the help of the Tagbilaran City Police Station, said Alcantara.
Suspects face appropriate cases.
