PBBM shares birthday wish: A better life for every Filipino

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., on Tuesday, Sept. 9, shared that his birthday wish is to uplift the lives
of all Filipinos, especially the poor.
Speaking to the media before departing Phnom Penh at the end of his three-day State Visit to
Cambodia, President Marcos said his wish has remained the same since the beginning of his
political career.
Marcos turns 68 on Saturday, Sept. 13.
“Hindi naman nagbabago ‘yung mga birthday wish ko mula noong simula hanggang ngayon na
naging Pangulo ako,” President Marcos said.
“At iyon na nga, maging maayos ang buhay ng bawat Pilipino, na maituloy natin lahat ng ating
proyekto para matulungan lalong-lalo na ‘yung mga mahihirap.”
The President added that his greatest aspiration is for the Philippines to become a nation where
no Filipino goes hungry.
“At ganoon pa rin hindi talaga nagbabago: Sana maabot natin ‘yung aking – at aabutin natin –
‘yung aking pinapangarap na wala ng gutom na Pilipino,” the President added.
