A decade of Italian design excellence in Manila
Inside Boffi | DePadova Studio Manila's role as a hub for architects, designers, and homeowners
Boffi celebrated a decade of bringing Italian craftsmanship to the country as it showcased curated spaces at its showroom in The Residences, Greenbelt, Makati City
Boffi and De Padova came together in 2015 with a shared vision of uniting Italian design across kitchens, baths, furniture, and storage. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the brand’s presence in the Philippines, a decade of shaping modern living through world-class craftsmanship since its introduction by Focus Global Inc. With its home at the Boffi | DePadova Studio Manila at The Residences at Greenbelt, Makati, it has become a destination for architects, designers, and homeowners seeking curated solutions that balance form and function.

To mark the milestone, the celebration brought together key figures who have shaped the brand’s journey in the country. Representing Focus Global Inc. were Stephen D. Sy, president and CEO; Lolita Sy, co-founder and vice president; Angela Sy, chief of finance; and Holly Quiec, business unit director. Joining them was Attilio Tettamanti, CEO of Boffi Asia Pacific.
Stephen Sy reflected on the journey in the country, noting how its success is built on a shared appreciation for purposeful, refined, and enduring design. “We are proud to represent a brand that values both heritage and forward-thinking innovation, offering not just exceptional products, but complete design solutions that enhance everyday living,” he shared.

From a small kitchen workshop in 1934 to a global design leader today, the company’s story has always been about pushing boundaries while honoring craft. Its Manila studio carries that spirit forward, curating spaces where architecture meets innovation—whether through Zaha Hadid’s sculptural cove kitchen, Luigi Massoni’s Xila tall units, Piero Lissoni’s Antibes walk-in closet and Case 5.0 bathroom system, or ADL’s Japo sliding, deco rototranslating, and showering doors. The space also brings warmth and character with De Padova’s Honoré collection and lighting by Elisa Ossino, with new pieces from Salone del Mobile 2025 expected to arrive soon. Each piece reflects a legacy of Italian design that continues to shape how people live, work, and gather in modern homes.
With a new wardrobe display set to open at the ADL showroom in BGC this September, the brand continues to expand its local footprint while deepening its ties with design partners. A decade on, it stands not just as a showcase of Italian excellence but as a driving force in shaping how homes in the Philippines embrace modern living—timeless, purposeful, and ever evolving.
