The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested a 47-year-old man tagged as the lookout in the fatal shooting of two siblings in Novaliches, Quezon City.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Joseph,” a resident of Barangay Gulod, Novaliches.

He was arrested in a follow-up operation by the Novaliches Police Station (PS 4) around 12:50 p.m. Thursday, September 12.
According to the police, the shooting happened at around 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the victims’ residence in Barangay Gulod.
The siblings were preparing loot bags for their niece’s birthday party when two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire before fleeing toward Quirino Highway.
The siblings died while their neighbor, who was also hit, was rushed to the Quezon City General Hospital for treatment.
Police said alias “Joseph” acted as a lookout and an accomplice of the suspects.
Verification through the Investigation Solution Automatic Verification (ISAV) system also revealed he had previous cases for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (R.A. 9165) and illegal gambling in 2010 and 2025.
The suspect is facing charges of murder before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
