Last day of 3-day 2025 online Bar Exams on Sunday, Sept. 14

A total of 11,429 examinees are expected to return to 14 testing centers nationwide for the last day on Sunday, Sept. 14, of the three-day 2025 online Bar examinations.
Subjects covered for Sunday’s tests are Criminal Law from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, and Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Only 11,437 of the 13,193 registered examinees took the tests last Sunday, Sept. 7, during the first day of the examinations.
During the second day of the examinations last Wednesday, Sept. 10, the number of examinees dwindled to 11,429, the SC’s Office of the Spokesperson said.
Supreme Court (SC) Associate Justice Amy C. Lazaro-Javier, chairperson of the 2025 Bar Examinations, said that some examinees withdrew due to various unforeseen circumstances.
Justice Lazaro-Javier said a total of 2,389 local personnel have been deployed across all 14 testing centers to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams.
She also said the results of the examinations are tentatively scheduled for release in early January 2026, followed by the oath-taking and signing of the Roll of Attorneys in February.
Last Wednesday, several SC justices – led by Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo and Associate Justice Lazaro-Javier – visited various testing centers.
Chief Justice Gesmundo flew to Mindanao and visited the testing center at the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) in Iligan City.
The MSU-IIT also served as one of the testing centers of the 2025 Shari’ah Special Bar Examinations (SSBE) held last May 25 and 28.
Associate Justice Lazaro-Javier visited the Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) and later went to Cebu to visit the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R).
Other SC Justices who visited various testing centers were Senior Associate Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen and Associate Justices Alfredo Benjamin S. Caguioa, Ramon Paul L. Hernando, Samuel H. Gaerlan, Jhosep Y. Lopez, Japar B. Dimaampao, Jose Midas P. Marquez, Antonio T. Kho, Jr., and Raul B. Villanueva.
They visited testing centers at the University of Santo Tomas and San Beda University in Manila, Ateneo Law School in Makati City, New Era University in Quezon City, University of the Philippines-Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City, Saint Louis University in Baguio City, USJ-R in Cebu City, ADDU in Davao City, and MSU-IIT in Iligan City.
During the examinations, the SC said that persons with disabilities were able to take the exams.
It said that blind examinees and a bilateral amputee were assisted by court stenographers, who transcribed dictated answers. To ensure fairness, these stenographers have no law background, it also said.
On the last day of the examinations, Associate Justice Lazaro-Javier urged the examinees to cast aside their doubts and their lingering judgments on how they fared in the preceding days.
Instead, she reminded them to once again “to show up with full resolve and give their absolute best; to finish strong, knowing that they devoted everything to the pursuit of their dreams.”
