Driver wanted for qualified theft nabbed in Las Piñas

Authorities from the Las Piñas City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) arrested a driver for qualified theft during the conduct of manhunt operations against wanted persons.
Las Piñas City Police Chief Col. Sandro Tafalla identified the suspect as Rod, 49. He was arrested at around 2:00 p.m. along Baranga CAA, Las Piñas City.
Tafalla said Rod, the Top 4 wanted person, was arrested by members of the WSS who were conducting manhunt operations.
He said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Victor Ramirez Aguba of the Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court, Branch 255, with no bail recommended.
The city police chief said Rod was detained at the Las Piñas City Police custodial facility after his arrest, pending the issuance of a commitment order by the issuing court.
Tafalla said the Las Piñas City Police remains relentless in its campaign against criminality to ensure a safer and more secure community.
