BACOLOD CITY – Two policemen and a drug pusher were injured after they were hit by a car during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mansilingan here on Thursday night, Sept. 11.
Police Major Elmer Bonilla, head of Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU), withheld the names of the two anti-drug operatives, while the suspect was identified as 23-year-old Joefer.
Bonilla said undercover police were transacting with Joefer when a car driven by a 55-year-old man suddenly hit them before crashing into a tricycle past 10 p.m.

Bonilla said that charges for reckless imprudence resulting in physical injuries will be filed by one of the policemen against the car driver, who is under police custody.
