Payment kiosk collector robbed in Tanza

CAVITE – A collector for a self-service payment kiosk was robbed on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Barangay Sanja Mayor in Tanza.
A report from the Police Regional Office 4A stated that the victim was sitting on his motorcycle when the suspect approached him, held him at gunpoint, and declared a holdup.
The suspect took the victim’s motorcycle and fled to Anyana Road, carting away more or less P500,000 worth of payment kiosk collection.
The stolen motorcycle was later recovered approximately two kilometers away from the crime scene.
Police investigation found that the suspect, identified as alias Erwin, was also involved in previous robbery-holdup cases targeting payment kiosk collectors in Region IV-A.
Authorities have launched a dragnet operation to collar alias Erwin and his possible cohorts.
