Former day-care worker hacked to death in Quezon

INFANTA, Quezon – A 67-year-old former day-care worker was hacked to death by a 27-year-old farmer in Barangay Batican here on Wednesday morning, Sept. 10.
Police identified the victim as Feliza.
The victim was wounded in the neck and was taken to a hospital here where she was declared dead.
The barangay chairman reported the incident to the police who are now conducting follow-up investigation to determine the motive and manhunt operations against the suspect, Kulok.
Meanwhile, a man wanted for rape was apprehended on Wednesday evening in Sitio Tondo, Barangay Tagbakin, Tiaong, Quezon.
Quezon police director Police Col. Romulo Albacea identified the suspect as Rafael, 46, a most wanted person on the regional level.
The suspect was arrested on a warrant for statutory rape dated Nov. 6, 2024 issued by a family court in Sariaya, Quezon. No bail was recommended by the court for his temporary liberty.
