Muntinlupa traffic enforcers to use automated handheld devices for apprehension

Traffic enforcers in Muntinlupa will start using automated handheld devices on Sept. 15 to apprehend erring motorists and issue traffic citation tickets. 

This was announced by the Muntinlupa City government’s Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau (MTMB) on Sept. 9. 

“These devices are intended to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in the enforcement of traffic regulations within Muntinlupa City,” the MTMB said in its announcement. 

After the ordinance violation receipt (OVR) is issued, motorists can pay for the traffic violation online through the MTMB Online Apprehension Payment Portal.

Here is the online payment guide, according to the MTMB: 

1. Type your OVR Number 

2. Click "Find OVR Number" 

3. Check your Apprehension Details 

4.Click "Pay Now!" 

5. Fill-out and Confirm Payment Details 

6. Choose preferred payment method and click "Continue" to finalize the transaction
