Farmer gored to death by own carabao

BACOLOD CITY – A 46-year-old farmer was gored to death by his own carabao in Crossing Martisan, Barangay Burgos, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental on Monday, Sept. 8.
Police said the victim was feeding his carabao when it suddenly went wild and gored him in the chest.
The victim sustained injuries and was declared dead in a hospital.
Police said it was the first time that the carabao acted aggressively and the sudden change in the weather may have upset the animal.
The incident was only reported by his wife to the authorities on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 9.
