DMW urges Pinoys in Qatar to observe safety measures amid Israel's strike

Filipinos in Qatar have been advised to remain calm and stay indoor following the series of attacks allegedly launched by Israel targeting Hamas leaders in Doha, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said.
In an advisory released by the DMW, it also advised overseas Filipino workers in various areas in Qatar to start observing safety measures that also include avoiding unnecessary travel and keeping mobile phones charged and emergency numbers accessible.
Other safety measures include following Qatar government’s security guidelines, Embassy advisories, and reliable news sources for real-time updates; keeping in touch with the local Philippine Embassy or Migrant Workers Office (MWO); and refraining from sharing unverified information that may cause panic.
