Aspin in Albay dies days after owner passes away

An Aspin (Asong Pinoy or native dog) in Legazpi City, Albay died on Sept. 6, days after her owner passed away on Aug. 29.
Janelyn Sanchez told ABS-CBN News Mitchu became lethargic after looking at their father Carlos in his coffin.
Mitchu lost appetite and refused to eat until they found her dead.
Her body was placed below Carlos' coffin and mourned for hours before she was buried in their backyard. Carlos will be interred on Sept. 11.
Her death touched the hearts of thousands of netizens who described it as an unconditional show of love and devotion to a fur parent.
