2 real estate brokers nabbed for tax violations in Cavite

Authorities from the Parañaque City Police arrested two licensed real estate brokers in Cavite on Sept. 9 for multiple counts of tax violations.
The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as Reichard, 46, listed as the Top 7 most wanted person, and Sharon, 44, tagged as the Top 8 most wanted person.
The suspects were nabbed at around 1:43 p.m. inside a coffee shop in Kawit, Cavite, by members of the Parañaque City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section.
They were apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Pauline F. Alejandre of the Parañaque City Metropolitan Trial Court, Branch 88, for 42 counts of violating Section 255 in relation to Sections 253 and 256 of the National Revenue Code, as amended, with a recommended bail of P2,520,000 each.
The suspects are currently detained at the Parañaque City Police custodial facility, pending the return of the warrant or arrest to the court of origin.
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, SPD director, said the successful operation reflects the continuing commitment of every police station to pursue wanted persons and ensure accountability under the law.
