Man robs TESDA liaison school of P128,000 by entering thru aircon hole

ZAMBOANGA CITY - A Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) liaison school here was robbed of P128,000 on Saturday, Sept. 6.
The robbery was discovered on Sept. 8, Monday, by a utility worker responsible for opening and closing the office.
Investigation showed that the worker, Zyrele Sanson, found the airconditioning unit removed and on the floor.
The worker discovered the office vault open and empty. Further investigation showed that cash amounting to P128,000 was missing.
CCTV footage showed an unidentified man entering the room through the aircon hole. He left through the same way.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
Meanwhile, authorities seized a kilo of shabu valued at more than P6 million and arrested a suspected drug pusher during a buy-bust operation here on Monday, Sept. 8.
The suspect, Almisal, faces charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
