2 HVIs yield P340,000 shabu in Mandaluyong drug op

Two notorious drug personalities, including a Chinese national, were nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Buayang Bato, Mandaluyong City, on Sept. 6, the Eastern Police District (EPD) said.
EPD Director Brig. Gen. Aden Lagradante identified the suspects as alias Lelith, 34, and Li, 27, a Chinese national. Both suspects were included in the district's unified drug watchlist.
Arresting officers recovered 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000 and other drug paraphernalia from the two.
Lagradante said the suspects were detained at the EPD Custodial Facility while the seized pieces of evidence were brought to the EPD Forensic Unit for examination.
“Pinupuri ko ang ating mga operatiba sa kanilang mabilis at matagumpay na operasyon laban sa mga naarestong personalidad. Ang pag-aresto sa dalawang pushers at kinilalang HVIs ay malinaw at patunay na walang lugar para sa mga kriminal ang ating distrito dahil sa mahigpit nating kampanya kontra sa ilegal na droga. Nais naming iparating sa publiko na hindi kami titigil sa paglaban sa kanila upang masiguro ang kaligtasan ng ating komunidad (I commend our operatives for their swift and successful operation against the arrested personalities. The arrest of the two pushers and identified HVIs is clear proof that our district has no place for criminals because of our strict campaign against illegal drugs. We want to convey to the public that we will not stop fighting them to ensure the safety of our community)," Lagradante said.
