TMI Food Processing Development, Inc. (TMIFPDI), the leading manufacturer of the popular Tobi brand, is celebrating 60 years of manufacturing excellence in the Philippines. The company marked this significant milestone with an event held on Aug. 29, 2025, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, celebrating six decades of excellence in processing and developing nuts and peanuts, transforming them into healthy snacks for Filipinos.

Since its establishment in 1965, TMIFPDI has successfully grown from a small “tingi-tingi” nut and peanut repacking business under Purity Repacking in Sta. Ana, Manila, into a thriving enterprise. Tobi’s manufacturing operations began in Malate in 1970 and later moved to Parañaque City in 1980. Over the years, the company found its niche in offering nuts as an ingredient for other food-related products. Today, Tobi boasts an impressive client base that includes industrial companies, supermarkets, popular fast-food chains, five-star hotels, and airline commissaries.
“Purpose has become our North Star—always driving us with a deep sense of meaning and a commitment to making a positive impact on the world, not just focusing on financial success,” shared TMIFPDI president Henderson Go.
The family patriarch and founder of Tobi, Andres Go, added, “It is not just about growing the business; it is about running the business with unwavering purpose. I believe the company will continue to thrive for the next 60 years and beyond if my children and grandchildren firmly hold on to that.”

For Tobi, the six-decade milestone is not only a celebration of history and tradition but also an expression of gratitude to the people who contributed to TMIFPDI’s success—including employees, customers, suppliers, and partners. It is a recognition of the collective effort that has brought the company to where it is today.
“We are immensely grateful to our employees for their hard work and dedication,” Henderson said. “Their contributions are truly invaluable to our success… With our unwavering purpose and our continuous improvements in manufacturing, we hope to keep uplifting communities across the nation.”
As TMIFPDI looks ahead, it remains committed to building a sustainable future—enhancing the livelihood of residents, particularly in Parañaque City, advancing environmental performance, and fostering strong partnerships with its suppliers and stakeholders.
