SM Supermalls marks four decades in the industry with a grand partners' appreciation night

An SM Partner’s Appreciation Night, held at the Forbes Ballroom of Conrad Manila, marked SM Supermalls’ grand 40th anniversary celebration. Bringing together SM tenants, lessees, stakeholders, and media friends, the event turned the evening of Sept. 1 into a night filled with great food, sparkling champagne, lively conversation, and a true spirit of fraternity and partnership.

Steven Tan, president of SM Supermalls, proudly shared that his relationship with tenants and lessees across the 88 SM Supermalls nationwide is one of partnership and collaboration. Not resting on the laurels of their dominance in today’s retail landscape, Steven revealed artist’s renderings of the upcoming SM La Union, SM Zamboanga, SM Nuvali, and SM Harrison Plaza.

The sumptuous dinner was prepared by Jerome Leung’s China Blue. Guests were treated to an evening of big band music, comedy skits, songs, and stand-up comedy. Hosted by Kaladkaren, the event featured performances by Gab Pangilinan, Baus Rufo, Macoy Dubs, and Raco Ruiz. For stand-up, Atsuko Okatsuka was flown in especially for the occasion, delighting the audience with her signature brand of humor.
It was a 40th anniversary celebration to remember—and we can’t wait for the 50th!
