Multi-award-winning Filipina actress Lovi Poe makes a significant Hollywood breakthrough with her role in Bad Man, an action-comedy starring Seann William Scott.
Lovie portrays Izzy, the central female role, whose layered performance adds depth to the film’s darkly humorous storyline. She shares strong screen chemistry with Johnny Simmons, who plays Deputy Sam Evans.
“It’s honestly a dream come true to be working alongside such an amazing cast. Bad Man was such a fun movie to be part of—so full of energy, heart, and humor. Mike Diliberti and JJ Nelson did an outstanding job writing it, and with Mike directing as well, they created something witty and entertaining. I’m just so happy and grateful to be part of it, and I can’t wait for everyone to watch,” Lovie also said.
The project also marks the directorial debut of Michael Diliberti, co-written with JJ Nelson. Featuring Chance Perdomo and Rob Riggle, Bad Man is a co-production involving Hemlock Circle Productions, Entertainment 360, The Syndicate, SSS Entertainment, and C’est Lovi Productions. The film is now out in the United States on VOD and in select theaters.
