K-drama 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' achieves own highest ratings for episode 6
“Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,” the K-drama starring Yoona and Lee Chae-min, achieves its highest ratings to date through episode 6.
Based on Nielsen Korea data, episode 6 of “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” that aired on tvN on Sept. 7 garnered a nationwide rating of 12.742 percent (peaking at 14.5 percent), in South Korea, its highest since it premiered on Aug. 23.
It is higher by 1.924 percentage points compared to episode 5 on Sept. 6 which garnered a nationwide rating of 10.818 percent.
In the metropolitan area of Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon, episode 6 of “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” received a rating of 13.135 percent (peaking at 15.1 percent), also the drama’s highest to date, up by 1.489 percentage points compared to 11.646 percent for episode 5.
The ratings for episode 6 topped the drama’s time slot among all channels, including terrestrial channels in South Korea.
Among the coveted 20-49 age group of viewers, “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” episode 6 recorded a nationwide rating of 4.9 percent and metropolitan area rating of 4.2 percent.
The “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” ratings are based on paid platforms in Korea integrating cable, IPTV, and satellite.
“Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” is a time-slip fantasy romance drama starring Yoona as chef Yeon Ji-yeong and Lee Chae-min as King Yi Heon.
In episode 6, the blossoming romance between Yeon Ji-yeong and King Yi Heon continued as they went together to a market to buy ingredients for a cooking competition.
