Mark Revillas, media relations officer for the PPA-PMO Zamboanga, said that the PPA office here received a notice from the PPA head office terminating the project.
Revilla said that they might re-bid the project after its termination.
He did not cite a reason for the termination. He said that the PPA Zamboanga office is only a recipient of the project of the PPA head office.
The project became the subject of a recent privilege speech by Sen. Raffy Tulfo, chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Services.

Tulfo slammed the PPA for the unfinished project that remains incomplete after more than four years.
The project was awarded in February 2021 and was supposed to be completed within 720 calendar days.
MAC Builders Corp., one of three contractors implementing the project, was reportedly blacklisted by the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) over another failed project.
