Parcel yields P800,000 kush

CABUYAO CITY, Laguna – Four kilograms of suspected dried marijuana leaves or kush were found in a parcel of a delivery carrier here on Friday afternoon, Sept. 5.

Police said sorters were unpacking unclaimed parcels when they discovered a box without a tracking number or any indication of ownership.

They inspected and opened the parcel and found four large vacuum-sealed plastic bags containing the contraband.

Police said it had an estimated value of P800,000.

It was turned over to police for further investigation and proper documentation.
