QCJFD warden Chief Insp. Lourvina L. During the meeting, discussions were centered on providing a platform where PDL-made products, like handicrafts and other livelihood outputs, may be displayed and promoted within Solaire Resort North.
Abrazado noted that the initiative forms part of the “No Woman Left Behind” program of Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, which aims to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for women and families affected by incarceration.
Once finalized, Abrazado said it is expected to open new opportunities for PDL entrepreneurs to reach wider markets and highlight their creativity and skills.
Earlier, the Quezon City government formally awarded the Scroll of City Resolution No. Sangguniang Panglunsod-10185, Series of 2025 for bagging the “Best City Jail of the Year’’ plum.

Presented by Sotto along with city council members, the award was received by Abrazado and other seven members of the jail facility.
The QCJFD noted that the recognition symbolizes the collective effort and dedication of the entire unit.
Abrazado also pointed out that the honor not only reflects QCJFD’s exemplary accomplishments but also the strong partnership and support of the local government for the welfare and development of the PDL.
