THE Western Mindanao Naval Command is now led by Rear Admiral Constancio Arturo Reyes Jr.
ZAMBOANGA CITY – Rear Admiral Constancio Arturo Reyes Jr. is the new head of the Western Mindanao Naval Command.
Reyes took over from acting commander Capt. Hilarion Cesista during a change-of-command ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Brig. Gen. Romulo Quemado II, acting commander of the Western Mindanao Command, led the event with Vice Admiral Jose Maria Ambrosio Ezpeleta, flag-officer-in-command of the Philippine Navy.
“The Western Mindanao Command extends a warm welcome to Rear Admiral Reyes as he assumes command of the Naval Command in this region,” Quemado said.
“We look forward to continuing our close partnership with the Philippine Navy in safeguarding our seas and strengthening maritime security. Together, we will pursue our shared mission of ensuring peace and development in Western Mindanao,” Quemado added.
