Manila City gov't issues traffic advisory for bar exams

The Manila city government announced road closures and re-routing schemes for the 2025 bar examinations on September 7, 10, and 14.
The traffic re-routing scheme will be implemented from 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

San Beda University
Authorities said bar examinees can ingress at the San Beda main gate (along Legarda Street) and Saint Bede’s gate (along Concepcion Aguila Street).
Road closure areas:
* Mendiola Street (from the Mendiola Peace Arch up to Concepcion Aguila Street): Both lanes will be closed to unauthorized vehicles, while the San Beda University side will be closed to all pedestrians.
* Concepcion Aguila Street (from Mendiola Street to Jose Laurel Street): Both lanes will be closed to unauthorized vehicles and pedestrians, except residents.
* Legarda Street, southbound only (two lanes from San Rafael Street to Mendiola Street)
The eastbound lane of Legarda Street will be dedicated as a drop-off and pick-up for Bar examinees.

University of Santo Tomas
Dapitan Street will be closed to traffic from 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The two outmost westbound lanes (UST side) of Espana Boulevard (from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street)
Motorists coming from Dapitan Street: turn right to Larson Avenue, left to Laong Laan Avenue to the destination.

Extramadura Street will be closed to traffic from 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, the city government has ordered the enforcement of a quiet and orderly zone within a 500-meter radius of San Beda University and the University of Santo Tomas (UST) during the bar examination.
The restrictions will take effect from midnight of September 6 until 10 p.m. of September 7, from midnight of September 9 until 10 p.m. of September 10, and from midnight of September 13 until 10 p.m. of September 14.
