Frasco dangles P500,000 reward to those who can find anomalous flood control projects in his district

Cebu 5th district Rep. Vincent Franco "Duke" Frasco is offering half a million pesos from his own pocket in exchange for any information that can help him find anomalous flood control projects from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) within his district.

"REWARD! I am offering a personal reward of ₱500,000 for any credible information that may lead to the finding of any anomalies or irregularities in DPWH FLOOD CONTROL projects within the 5th District of Cebu," Frasco wrote on Facebook Friday, Sept. 5.

"I will never tolerate any irregularities or substandard work, and I fully support efforts to uphold transparency and accountability in all government-funded projects," added the former deputy speaker.

Frasco said he immediately asked the DPWH regional office to conduct a full review of all projects in his district following President Marcos' call to investigate anomalous or "ghost" flood mitigation projects.

Tipsters and claimants to Frasco's P500,000 reward may contact 0956 279 4183, the Facebook post said.
