2 suspects yield P355K drugs, gun, in Imus buy-bust

CAVITE – Authorities apprehended two high-value suspects and confiscated P355,000 worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in Imus City early morning on Friday, Sept. 5.
The Cavite Police Provincial Office (Cavite PPO) identified the suspects as alias Cris and alias Jaja, residents of Bacoor City.

Seized from their possession were 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P340,000, along with 10 grams of dried marijuana or kush, with a standard price of P15,000.
The suspects also yielded a gun and live ammunition. Both suspects are now under the custody of Imus Component City Police Station.
They are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
In a statement, Cavite PPO Acting Director Col. Ariel R. Red said the police will not relent in pursuing high-value targets and will ensure that those involved in illegal drugs and firearms are brought to justice.
