Police arrested three men in two buy-bust operations that resulted in the seizure of P275,400 worth of shabu in Taguig on Sept. 3.
The drug busts were conducted by the Taguig police’s Drug Enforcement Unit in Barangay Palingon Tipas.
At about 9:45 p.m., the police arrested alias Alteng, 34, a tricycle driver and a newly identified drug personality.
Confiscated from him were two sachets of shabu weighing 11.9 grams with an estimated value of P80,920 along with marked and boodle money.
At 11 p.m., the same unit arrested alias Richard, 20, and alias Jerone, 31, identified as street-level individuals, in another buy-bust operation in Panday Creek.
Police seized six sachets of shabu weighing 28.6 grams valued at P194,480.00, together with buy-bust money and boodle money.
The seized drugs were turned over to the Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
The police will file complaints against the suspects for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) with the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.
