Launched on Tuesday, Sept. 2, the campaign is a joint initiative of the City Health Office (CHO), the Public Employment Services Office (PESO), the Department of Health (DOH), and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
According to the city government, TUPAD beneficiaries will help inspect households and communities, clear potential mosquito breeding sites, and conduct information drives on dengue prevention.
The local government said the program not only strengthens the city’s anti-dengue efforts but also provides temporary livelihood for displaced workers.
It added that through the cooperation of residents, health workers, and local agencies, the city can better safeguard communities against the mosquito-borne disease.
