SPD arrests farmer wanted for murder in Nueva Ecija

A farmer wanted for murder was arrested by operatives of the Southern Police District's (SPD) Mobile Force Battalion in Talugtog, Nueva Ecija, on September 2.

The suspect, identified as Delfin, 46, was nabbed at around 12:55 p.m. in Purok 2 Sampalok, Barangay Sta. Catalitan.

The SPD said Delfin was listed as the No. 2 most wanted person at the regional level for murder.

Delfin was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Divinagracia Lopez Pelino of the Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 117 on July 7, 2025. The court recommended no bail.

The operation was a joint effort of the SPD, Pasay City Police, and the Tugatog Municipal Police.

Delfin was placed custody at the Pasay City Police custodial, pending the return of the warrant to the issuing court.
