According to the city government, the two pumping stations are expected to be operational again by Friday, Sept. 5.
It added that portable pumps are currently being used to remove floodwater in the area while the repairs are ongoing.
The local government said that large waste materials such as wood, ropes, and trash sacks caused the damage.
Authorities reminded residents to practice proper waste disposal to keep flood-control systems functioning and help prevent flooding in the city.
