'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' rises to No. 2 on Netflix; 'KPop Demon Hunters' still No.1

The Korean drama “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” starring actress Yoona and actor Lee Chae-min rose to No. 2 on Netflix’s weekly Global Top 10 of the most watched TV shows and movies on the streaming platform. 

Netflix released the rankings for the period Aug. 25 to 31 of the most viewed English and non-English shows and films. 

“Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,” which has achieved ratings success in South Korea, has also garnered popularity in other countries. 

The K-drama, which premiered on Aug. 23, rose to No. 2 from No. 4 last week on Netflix’s top 10 non-English shows list, garnering 8.1 million views from Aug. 25 to 31, an increase of 4.6 million views from 3.5 million views it achieved from Aug. 18 to 24. 

For its second week on the list, “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” placed in the top 10 on Netflix in 73 countries and territories, including No. 1 in 29. 

“KPop Demon Hunters” maintained its No. 1 position this week with 30.1 million views as it spent in the top 10 on Netflix’s English movies list for 11 weeks. 

“Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” is in the top 10, including getting the No. 1 spot, in the following countries and territories:
