BATANGAS CITY – A bomb threat rocked the Batangas City Integrated High School here on Wednesday morning, Sept. 3.
Authorities secured the area and conducted paneling and clearing operations.
More than 1,000 students, faculty, and staff were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
The Coast Guard Station Batangas City deployed its K9 and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams, backed up by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).
Investigation is ongoing to determine the source of the threat.
Classes were temporarily suspended until authorities declare the school safe.
