Air Link International Aviation College (ALIAC) has achieved a momentous milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence and quality assurance with the recent awarding of the ISO 21001:2018 certification by SOCOTEC Certification International. This international standard is specifically designed for Educational Organizations Management Systems (EOMS) and recognizes institutions that consistently provide learner-centered education aligned with global best practices.
The certification was officially issued on July 16, 2025, and will remain valid until July 15, 2028. It covers the full scope of ALIAC’s Basic and Tertiary Education Programs, including Senior High School and degree offerings such as Aviation major in Flying, Avionics Technology, Aircraft Maintenance Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Office Administration major in Airline Management, Tourism Management, Aviation Management, Customs Administration, and Aviation Unmanned Aerial Systems.
ALIAC is one of the few educational institutions in the Philippines to earn this prestigious ISO 21001:2018 certification. The college made a strategic transition from ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Quality Management System standard to ISO 21001:2018, recognizing that the latter is more responsive and relevant to the unique operational requirements of educational institutions. This move demonstrates ALIAC’s continued commitment to aligning its systems with international frameworks that promote excellence in teaching, learning, and institutional governance.
“This accomplishment is heartily offered to God. To Him be the Glory,” said ALIAC president and CEO Atty. Gomeriano V. Amurao, DPA. “We thank every member of the ALIAC community—faculty, staff, students, alumni, and partners—who made this possible through their unwavering dedication and faith in our shared mission.”
ISO 21001:2018 provides a powerful framework for educational organizations aiming to improve their learning environments and outcomes. It emphasizes stakeholder satisfaction, effective learning processes, strategic leadership, and continuous improvement. For ALIAC, the certification is not merely a recognition—it is a reaffirmation of its identity as a learner-focused institution committed to shaping aviation professionals and global citizens.
This achievement not only enhances ALIAC’s credibility in the educational sector but also positions it at the forefront of innovation and accountability in aviation education. As the college continues to soar to greater heights, this certification becomes a beacon of its promise: to serve, to lead, and to transform—guided always by excellence and grounded in faith.
