2 fugitives wanted for rape, acts of lasciviousness nabbed in Las Piñas
Two men who were tagged by the police as Top 6 and Top 8 wanted persons under the station and regional levels for rape and acts of lasciviousness were arrested by members of the Las Piñas City Police on September 1.

Las Piñas City Police Chief Col. Sandro Tafalla identified the suspects as Neil, 26, a technician, ranked as the Top No. 6 wanted person under the station level, and Vic, 60, the 8th most wanted person under the regional level.
Tafalla said Neil, who was facing criminal charges for three counts of acts of lasciviousness, was apprehended at Zapote Barangay Hall by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section at around 9:50 p.m.
Neil was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Nerina Anastacio-Mendinueto of Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court, Branch 199, Las Piñas City, with a recommended bail of P180,000 for each of the three counts of acts of lasciviousness filed against him.
The city police chief said Vic, who was placed as a Top 8 wanted person at the regional level, was arrested at around 3:50 a.m. in Barangay Talon 5, Las Piñas City, for rape through sexual assault and four counts of acts of lasciviousness.
Vic was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Kathryn S. Sabado of RTC Branch 202, Las Piñas City RTC Branch 202 with a recommended bail of P1,000,000 for rape through sexual assault and P400,000 for each of the four counts of acts of lasciviousness.
Tafalla said both suspects were detained at the Las Piñas City Police custodial facility pending the issuance of commitment orders by the courts.
