CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Police seized illegal drugs worth ₱836.4 million, arrested hundreds of wanted persons, and recovered unlicensed firearns in Central Luzon from Aug. 1 to 31.
Police Regional Office-3 Director Police Brig.Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said these accomplishments underscored their unrelenting drive to ensure safer communities.
Peñones said they conducted 659 anti-illegal drug operations, resulting in the arrest of 1,006 suspects, including 34 high-value individuals.
Authorities seized 122,631.645 grams of shabu, 11,370.711 grams of marijuana, and other illegal substances with an estimated street value of ₱836,406,721.22.
Manhunt operations led to the arrest of 745 wanted persons, including 13 regional Top 10 MWPs, 43 provincial Top 10 MWPs, and 59 municipal Top 10 MWPs.
Intensified operations against loose firearms led to the recovery of 258 firearms—144 confiscated during police operations, 96 voluntarily surrendered, and 18 deposited for safekeeping.
“We continue to be relentless in our mission to rid our communities of illegal drugs and criminals. These results are products of intelligence-driven operations and sustained coordination with partner agencies like the PDEA,” said Peñones.
