Village dad electrocuted to death in Quezon

ALABAT, Quezon – A 54-year-old barangay councilor and electrician was electrocuted to death in Barangay Camagong here on Sunday afternoon, Aug. 31.
Police identified the victim as Gem.
Investigation said the victim was accidentally electrocuted while fixing the electrical wiring of a street light during heavy rain.
He sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital here where he was declared dead.
The incident was reported to the police by victim's daughter.
Police have coordinated with the Rural Health Unit and requested a postmortem examination on the victim.
