Stray Kids' 'Karma' No. 1 album in August with 3.06-M copies sold
K-pop boy band Stray Kids’ “Karma” was crowned the No. 1 best-selling album in August in South Korea.
Korea’s Hanteo Chart released the rankings for its monthly album chart for August based on its proprietary physical record index (PRI), a score that combined album sales and album price.
“Karma,” released on Aug. 22, topped the monthly chart with 3.06 million copies sold or an equivalent of 3.68 million points in PRI.
K-pop girl group IVE’s “IVE Secret” ranked second in August with 921,506 copies in sales or a PRI 1.16 million points.
EXO’s Chanyeol ranked third with his “Upside Down” album selling 243,622 copies or a PRI of 290,471 points.
IDNTT’s “Unevermet“ is in fourth place with 336,953 copies sold or a PRI or 172,965 followed by EVNNE’s “LOVE ANECDOTE(S)” with 170,294 copies in sales or 170,878 points in PRI.
