Robbery, sexual assault suspect nabbed in Albay

One of the two suspects who robbed and sexually assaulted two of the 13 massage therapists in Pasay City was arrested by the Pasay City Police in Albay.
The suspect was identified as Jared, of Legazpi City, Albay, following a manhunt operation for the immediate arrest of the suspects on the order of Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano.
The Pasay City Public Information (PIO), Jared, together with another suspect, stormed a massage parlor located along Cabrera St., Barangay 140, last Friday, August 29.
Two of the 13 massage therapists were reportedly sexually abused, while the others were robbed of their cash and personal belongings.
The Pasay PIO said that Rubiano, dismayed by the incident, ordered the local police to conduct 24/7 police visibility and launch an operation for the immediate arrest of the suspects.
Rubiano condemned the incident and assured the victims of full support, including legal assistance in coordination with law enforcement agencies.
