Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno" Domagoso on Monday, Sept. 1, honored three employees of the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) and two students for their exemplary display of honesty and integrity.

During a ceremony at the Manila City Hall, Mayor Isko awarded P20,000 each to Rodel Fajardo, an MTPB traffic enforcer who returned a wallet containing P10,000 cash; Adrian Pinangay, an MTPB parking attendant who returned a wallet he found in Morayta belonging to a student from the Far Eastern University (FEU); and Dexter Corpuz, another MTPB parking attendant who returned a bag owned by a student from St. Jude College. The two students found the phone while eating at a restaurant in Sta. Cruz.

The mayor also recognized the honesty of two students, Gabriel Vench Jimenez, a Grade 9 student from the University of the East, and Vince Xyrich Macaraeg, a Grade 7 student from Cayetano Arellano High School, for returning a lost cellphone belonging to Rogelio Medina.

Domagoso personally thanked the parents and principal of the two students for raising and guiding them well.
