Muntinlupa police chief receives Gawad Pilipino Hero Award

Col. Robert Domingo, the chief of police of the Muntinlupa City Police Station, received the Gawad Pilipino Hero Award 2025 for his outstanding service.

The Gawad Pilipino “aims to recognize individuals’ excellence as demonstrated in passion and work ethics that greatly caused an impact on Philippine culture, tradition, and society for human innovations.”

The awarding ceremony was held to mark National Heroes Day with the theme "Mga Natatanging Bayaning Pilipino: Isang Diwa, Isang Lahi, Isang Bayanihan (Outstanding Filipino Heroes: One Spirit, One Race, One Solidarity).”

This year’s theme emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in honoring Filipino heroes from all walks of life.

"I am deeply honored to receive this recognition. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Muntinlupa City Police Station. We remain committed to serving and protecting our community with integrity and excellence," said Domingo about his award.

Domingo became the new Muntinlupa police chief in May last year.
