Rubiano expressed concern over the incident, stressing the need to ensure the safety and security of all residents, particularly women and children.
“I have instructed the Pasay City Police to heighten their visibility in all critical areas of the city, especially in barangays and transport terminals, to prevent similar incidents from happening again,” Rubiano said.
Dismayed by the incident, Rubiano has maintained peace and order channels are in place and will be intensified.
“With the help of our Pasay City Police and other agencies, we are certain that justice will be served,” Rubiano said.
The mayor also said that peace and order are a shared responsibility, and the city government, through the local police, will do everything to protect city residents.
