Marcos declares special non-working days in 3 areas in September
President Marcos has declared special non-working days in a municipality in Biliran and two cities in Masbate and Sultan Kudarat in September.

Through Proclamation No. 1003, Marcos declared Sept. 18, which falls on a Thursday, as a special non-working day in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat for the celebration of its 25th cityhood anniversary.
"[I]t is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tacurong be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration," Marcos said in the proclamation.
It was signed on Aug. 27 by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.
The President also declared Sept. 26, Friday, as a special non-working day in the municipality of Naval, Biliran for its 165th Pueblo Day or Charter Day.
Marcos made the declaration to also give the people of Naval the opportunity to join in the celebration.
It was signed by Bersamin on Aug. 28.
Sept. 30, which falls on a Tuesday, was declared a special non-working day in Masbate City for its 25th cityhood anniversary.
Marcos made the declaration with the same purpose as the other areas. It was signed on Aug. 28.
