Woman's body found floating in San Juan River

A woman's body was found floating in San Juan River by residents on Friday, Aug. 29, the city's Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) reported.

According to the CDRRMO, they received a call from a concerned citizen who was picking trash along the river about the floating body found in the waterway at around 6 a.m.
Rescue personnel recovered the woman's remains at around 7 a.m.
They said the woman was wearing a red floral shirt and earrings. They are now trying to determine the identity of the woman.
Investigation on the incident is ongoing.
