More 'salvage' victims turn up in Talisay City, Negros Occidental
BACOLOD CITY – Two more suspected “salvage” or summary execution victims turned up in Talisay City, Negros Occidental on Friday.
These fresh batch of bodies were found in Barangay Dos Hermanas, two weeks after three were discovered in Barangays Concepcion and Matab-ang on Aug. 11.
An initial report from the Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region said a 45-year-old woman reported the remains to authorities after she was informed by children who discovered them in a parking lot at 6 p.m.
One of the victims was wearing a black shirt and denim shorts while the other was wearing denim shorts without any upper garment.
A thorough investigation is being conducted to identify the victims.
Two of the three victims found in Barangays Concepcion and Matab-ang have been identified.
Police are conducting follow-up investigations on these murders are not ruling out drugs as motive due to their backgrounds.
