"I have to be honest. I've always been open, and I want to date someone. I want to meet someone," said Vina.
She added, "But it just so happened hindi talaga nagwo-workout. Kaya ako ayokong pilitin ang isang bagay na hindi para sa akin. Kung ipipilit ko na maging kami, ako lang ang mahihirapan. (But it just so happened that it didn't really work out. That's why I don't want to force something that's not for me. If I force it to be us, I'll be in trouble.)
"So ang outlook ko sa. buhay ngayon, kung hindi para sayo, tanggapin mo na lang. Nakakalungkot din kasi gusto ko magkaroon na stable na love life and a partner who will be there for me all the time. Kung may problema ako, may matatakbuhan ako. Andyan naman ang pamilya ko pero gusto ko rin naman ng lovelife. (So my outlook on life now, if it's not for you, accept it. It's also sad because I want to have a stable love life and a partner who will be there for me all the time. If I have a problem, I can run to someone. My family is there, but I also want a love life.)
"I am praying for that. Every day I pray for my husband. I pray for my husband to be safe, kasi hindi ko alam kung sino siya. I pray for guidance na sana makita na niya ako. Kung sino man yung husband ko, sana sya ang ipakilala ni Lord sa akin. (Every day I pray for my husband. I pray for my husband to be safe because I don't know who he is. I pray for guidance so that he can see me. Whoever my husband is, I hope the Lord will introduce him to me.)," Vina said.
Vina, who currently stars in the popular Kapuso series "Cruz vs. Cruz," was in a two-year relationship with her American non-showbiz boyfriend, Andrew Kovalcin, starting in 2022. However, Vina and Andrew ended their relationship in 2024 due to the challenges that came with long-distance dating.
She also spoke fondly of her daughter Ceana, who has now grown up. Recently, her daughter celebrated her 16th birthday.
"Ceana used to be very shy, but now, when I ask her about joining show business, she smiles. Maybe. We'll see," said Vina.
"Hindi siya sarado, but I don't push her. Kung ano man ang gusto niyang gawin, I will support her. Pero sana mag aral muna siya kasi 'yan ang na-miss ni mommy. (She's not closing her doors (on showbiz), but I don't push her. Whatever she wants to do, I will support her. But I hope she studies first because that's what mommy missed.) She's doing well in school.
"Pero feeling ko parang hindi pa (siya papasok sa showbiz) pero nakikita ko na ang confidence niya. Hindi na sya super shy. (But I feel like she's not yet (entering showbiz) but I can see her confidence. She's not super shy anymore)," she added.
Vina, 49, offered her insights to the new generation of stars, sharing wisdom gathered from her own journey through the dazzling world of showbiz.
"You have to be talented pero maraming talented na singer and actress. Ang sa akin lang is the right attitude. Ang longevity is makukuha naman yan if you have the right attitude. Makukuha mo lang yan if you know how to work with people on and off the camera. (You have to be talented, but there are many talented singers and actresses. The right attitude is important. Longevity is only attainable if you have the right attitude. You can only attain that if you know how to work with people on and off the camera)," she said.
Vina also urged young stars to reinvent themselves throughout their journey in showbiz.
"Pagmahal mo ang craft mo, gusto mong matuto and mag reinvent. If you are stuck there, wala na ka maibigay, I never stop learning, Kung ano ang pwede kong gawin, gagawin ko. I always give my best sa lahat ng projects na ibinibigay sa akin. (When you love your craft, you want to learn and reinvent. If you are stuck there, you have nothing left to give. I never stop learning. What I can do, I will do. I always give my best on all projects assigned to me.)
"Right attitude lang. Bawal ang pa-diva, Hindi nagtatagal yun sa showbiz. Minsan may tumatagal pero hindi ganun katagal. Dapat marunong ka talagang makisama. I think it goes with life hindi lang sa showbiz. You have to be kind all the time. (Have the right attitude. Being a diva is not allowed. Divas don't last long in showbiz. Sometimes they last but not that long. You have to really know how to get along. I think it goes with life, not just in showbiz. You have to be kind all the time)," Vina also said.
